Idilia Foods conceives Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) as an integrated process in all its activities and strategic for the continuity of the company.

The Management of Idilia Foods prioritizes the development of this Occupational Health and Safety Policy through the SSL Management System, whose main objective is to provide a safe and healthy work environment to prevent injuries and work-related health deterioration for relevant stakeholders.

To this end, Idilia Foods promotes the following basic principles, which must govern all the organization's actions:

  • Active and present leadership from Management as an inherent component of their hierarchical responsibility, responsible for leading SSL programs, ensuring the application of standards throughout the command line, and supporting other relevant roles.
  • Definition of SSL objectives and performance supervision to achieve the continuous improvement of the SSL management system, with the maximum participation of the entire organization.
  • Compliance with legal requirements and other requirements, as well as with internal procedures and instructions.
  • Systematic analysis of risks and opportunities that allow for the elimination of hazards and the reduction of risks to SSL, with the involvement of employees and their representatives, as well as service providers, adopting the necessary actions for accident prevention and the promotion of healthy habits.
  • Investigation of all incidents, accidents, and occupational diseases as a tool for continuous improvement and learning for their prevention.
  • Promotion of appropriate and continuous training, information, and motivation programs that allow all employees to understand both the risks and impacts arising from their work, as well as their importance and how to prevent them.
  • Promotion of participation, consultation, involvement, and a sense of responsibility among all our employees and relevant stakeholders towards a culture of SSL seen as an attitude and a will, based on respect and compliance with procedures, and on initiative and contribution to its improvement.
